In the spring and fall we fish for trout and salmon. The rivers and lakes we fish are the Androscoggin, Rapid, and Magalloway. We will also fish some lakes for trout if you wish. The lakes include Bryant Pond, Lake Richardson, Azichacos and Umbagog. Fishing the lakes helps us in case of high water events, which are common in the prime season for trout and salmon.

We are located 2.2 miles in the woods in Newry ME. This gives us a great location for upland game hunting. We own 136 acres and it is managed for grouse and woodcock. This land is private and available for use by our customers only.

The remaining land on Puzzle mountain is private and only available to my guests and other land owners. It is gated so you will not be likely yo run into other hunters. This is an advantage we have over other guide services, they hunt public land, ours is private. There is thousands of arces of cover that is under hunted, and the pressure is managed by us.

We also have two other private covers available to our clients. One is a woodcock cover and the other is a Grouse cover. We can select the cover that is right for you. Some of the covers are tough walking due to the fact that it is a Mountain. For the tough covers we travel in our Polaris Ranger.This eases your legs and keeps you in the hunt longer.
