Sall-Mar Resort is just a short walk from "downtown" Rapid River where you will find great places to eat like The Swallow Inn (featured in the movie "Escanaba in the Moonlight") and The Rapid River Pub. Or maybe the kids (or parents) just want to stroll up to The Rapid River Dairy Flo for some ice cream! 

    Both Little and Big bay de Noc are well known for their excellent walleye fishing, but guess what, the northern pike, smallmouth bass, and perch fishing are pretty darn good too! 

    Delta County has over 500 miles of rivers and streams, 144 inland lakes, and more miles of freshwater shoreline than any other county in the entire United States!!! 

    Hunting opportunities abound with over one million acres of state and federal forest lands to explore for deer, bear, rabbits, and grouse. 

    You can also kick back and sit around a bonfire if you'd like or maybe play some horse shoes. There are lots of beautiful things to see and much to do here in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula and we welcome you to our "neck of the woods". Hope to see you soon...
