Over the years we have had the opportunities to hunt whitetails in several different states and on several different hunting preserves. When we started Oak Ridge Whitetail Adventure back in 2008 we decided that we were going to develop a management program that would allow us to produce the whitetail look that we wanted, huge typical trophy bucks!
The goal was set and we began our journey trying to produce “the look” and still maintain our natural setting while providing a deer hunting experience to match the trophy. Now as we get ready to begin our 10th season it can be seen in our successful deer hunter photos that we are meeting our goals. The mature bucks we have produced over the last decade are some of the cleanest main frame typical racks anywhere. If some of the faces in these photos have become familiar that is because our core group (approximately 70%) of deer hunters return each year.
Our success rate runs over 90% and while we do not have a guaranteed kill we do work with our unsuccessful hunters to reschedule at no additional cost. When you are deer hunting the natural movement of deer there are many factors that can influence your success. These same factors are what allow us to provide you with the purist deer hunt possible while you are with us. We deer hunt a combination of stands from open ladder stands to fully enclosed elevated box stands. These stands are placed on food plots, natural travel routes and along the several oak ridges. The method used is decided by the hunter and we can tailor the details for each individual deer hunt according to your desires.
To top off your hunting experience at Oak Ridge we provide lodging and homemade meals on site. Our package prices are all inclusive with no hidden fees. The lodge is fully modern with WIFI available and we only book one hunting party at a time which allows you maximum privacy during your visit. Many of our deer hunters bring along a family member or a non-hunting companion to enjoy their hunting experience with them.
Our deer hunts will include us preparing your trophy for processing and taxidermy (fully caped). When you leave our facility your trophy will be legal and safely packaged for transportation. We can also arrange meat processing and taxidermy for additional fees.
