Purchased by my grandfather in the mid 60’s, the property that Hickory Hideaway sits on was used as a church camp (God’s Hills) until his passing in 1993. Many a camper spent their summers enjoying hayrides and horseback riding along the miles of trails that wind through the hickory wooded hills.
In 1999, I purchased the majority of the farm from uncles, with recreation for family and friends at heart. My father and I, along with my three sons and our wives, are all avid outdoorsmen with a passion for hunting and conservation. We have enjoyed managing the property for deer and turkey over the last decade.
With a new bride and the itch for a career change after 25+ years in manufacturing management, Jennifer and I have decided to share with you our slice of paradise. Welcome to Hickory Hideaway!
