When you step onto Owen Farms Hunting Preserve, you will immediately appreciate the country life of the South. The peacefulness and serenity of the great outdoors is at its best here with us.  Combine that with real southern hospitality and a staff with over 40 years of hunting experience, and you have one of the most memorable hunting excursions of your life.

Our preserve is located adjacent to property owned by the University of Georgia, which consists of over 10,000 acres of land that is prime breeding ground for both deer, wild hogs, and turkeys.

You will see plenty of wildlife feeding in fields and at the many feeding stations located throughout our property. We keep our feeders filled year round to obtain optimal health for our wildlife.

We welcome both private and corporate groups as well as family hunts. We hope to instill our love and appreciation for the land in children to help them begin a hobby in which they will continue throughout their lives.  We strive to ensure our youth have a great experience they will always remember.

Our rates are aimed to allow hunters a quality hunting experience at an affordable rate. We are not going to say we’re the best or finest, but we will do our very best to make your hunting experience a memorable one that you will want to experience over and over. *******February 1, 2016, we lost an important person and co-owner, Mr. Eddie Owen.  Even though he is not here in body, he will always be here with us in our hearts and our minds.  Until we meet again, Dad............we love you always!
