Wapesi, a favorite lake for many people for many years, continues to boast some of the best walleye and northern pike fishing in Canada. Wapesi Lake, a 30 minute flight from Sioux Lookout, is 12 miles long and ideal for larger fishing parties. Trophy northern pike and walleye are commonly caught in these very dark waters but the lake is known mainly for the abundance of fish. The area is home to many moose, eagles, beaver, otter and mink that guests frequently "shoot" to accompany the fishing highlights, northern lights, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets in a prize photo collection.

Wapesi Lake is ideal for fishing parties from 4 to 16 .

NORTHWOOD OUTPOSTS BEAR HUNT 

FLY-IN OUTPOST BEAR HUNT

This package includes the following:

• Pre-baited stands
• Extra bait
• Air transport to & from outpost
• 6 or 7-day fishing trip/bear hunt

COST $3200 US/HUNTER (plus taxes). Fishermen welcome to join your party at fishing rates.

NORTHWOOD OUTPOSTS MOOSE HUNT

We offer a 7-day fly-in moose hunt to Wapesi, Lynx Paw or Aerofoil Outpost. The hunt includes the following:

• Airfare to and from the outpost from our main office at Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
• Everything as listed in our brochure for a 7-day fishing trip.
• Airfare to fly your moose out to Sioux Lookout.
• Arrangements at Sioux Lookout to have your meat packaged for your trip home. Cost for this is extra.

Minimum party is 2 hunters. Extra fishermen welcome at fishing rates.

MOOSE HUNT COST

1. Bull/Cow tag & calf tag: $6000 US plus tax
2. Fishermen only: $1400 US plus taxes

HUNTING AND FISHING LICENCES ARE EXTRA.
