Kambaku Safari Lodge

  • A real African experience: Relaxation and adventure among Namibia's wildlife.
  • Our small lodge lies within the 80 km2 Kambaku Wildlife Reserve, around 25 km north of the Waterberg biosphere. The natural shapes, colours and materials used in the lodge's design allow it to blend in seamlessly with the surrounding savannah. Whether you're a family, a solo traveller, a nature-lover, a rider, a senior citizen, a child or are newly in love, the Kambaku Safari Lodge is the perfect destination for an exciting but relaxing stay.

  • The Kambaku Wildlife Reserve is an exhilarating natural idyll in the flats below the Waterberg. Almost all African antelope species, such as impala, gnu, eland, hartebeest, oryx or kudu, steenbok and duiker, giraffes, zebras, snakes and other reptiles alongside the mammals and the vegetation call it their home. Predatros like brown hyena, leopard, and cheetah, the bat-eared fox, jackal, aardvark and spotted genet stroll through the bushveld whilst vultures, eagles and more than 250 other bird species master the sky.

Hunting Safari

  • Wild animals are the main focus at Kambaku. Eight different species of antelope; zebras, ostriches, as well as big cats, all pass through this natural paradise. Every stalk becomes an unforgettable experience because of the incredible diversity of the flora and fauna. A variety of eagle and vulture species, falcons, jackals, warthogs and hyena provide plenty of opportunities for exciting observations.
  • It is always a huge challenge for our professional hunters to familiarize European and American hunters with African wildlife. Unfamiliar movement and behaviour patterns among the wildlife provide a chance to extend one's own knowledge of nature and hunting - after all, it is through "understanding" that your African hunting trip will become an experience you will never forget.
