Anglers from all over the world travel to Montana's Bitterroot valley to fish for wild trout on this 84 mile stretch of blue ribbon river. With it's legendary hatches of Salmon, Caddis and May Flies, the Bitterroot starts fishing well in March and continues to produce trophy size Westslope Cutthroat, Rainbow and Brown trout in record numbers through November.

In the off season most of our hunters are fisherman and fishing in spring and fall on the Bitterroot is about as good as it gets. Come a few days early or stay a few days after your hunt and add-on a day or two of float fishing on some of the best wild trout water in the country.
