Elk & Mule Deer Combination in Colorado Deer combination hunts guided by Triangle T Outfitters specialize in fully guided elk and mule deer hunts in the high country of Colorado on over 400 sq. miles. The base camp is 37 miles from the nearest paved road. Hunts are guided from a deluxe tent camp at the elevation of 10,300 feet in the Rio Grand National Forest, which is one mile from the La Garita Wilderness boundary. The closest spike camp is a four hour ride by horseback from the base camp
