Rend Lake Conservancy District is a local unit of government organized under the Illinois River Conservancy Act. It is governed by a seven member board of trustees. Detailed information about the trustees is listed on this website under “Board of Trustees”. The District is comprised of one governmental fund (General Fund) and three enterprise funds (Inter-City Water, Recreation, and Sewage Treatment).
The General Fund is the administrative fund for the District. General fund employees and the Inter-City Water engineering department are housed in the administrative office at 11231 Marcum Branch Road. The office is across the road and north of the water plant in a park like setting. District wide managers located at the administrative office include the General Manager, Legal Council for the District, and the Comptroller.
