Big Spur Lodge is the only South Dakota lodge to offer train while hunting packages to owners of upland bird dogs.
Train/Hunt seminars are training sessions that are done while we are hunting, whether that's pheasant, sharptail, grouse or woodcock. A seasoned gun dog trainer and professional guide works with you and your dog in field training and fine tuning your hunting companion! At the same time your dog is being trained and learning, you are learning with your dog. It's hands on participation for the owner so that you can continue with the skills you have been taught after you return home. It's the best method for both you and your canine buddy.
