Part of a wildlife management association that encompasses 40,000 acres, the ranch has been intensely managed for whitetail deer for ten years and has only allowed one commercial hunt in eleven years. There is also an abundance of rio grande turkeys, hogs, coyotes, fox, and bobcats. Between hunts, you might want to challenge the 10+ lb. native largemouth bass that reside in the largest hole of water on the San Saba River. The largest bass caught thus far weighed 13 lbs.
