Our hunting operation started over 30 years ago by Larry Sauve and his young son Tom. Today, we continue that legacy as a husband and wife team; Tom and Jess Sauve. We are proud of our knowledge and skills in the field as well as our unbeatable passion for black bear hunting.
Hunting with us will challenge your skills and nerves no matter how seasoned you may be. We have some of the thickest bush and undergrowth anywhere in this country, and that is part of what makes our hunt special…it is a test of skills and technique that is not required in most areas.
We don’t claim to only have only 500-800 pound bears at all of our baits (and frankly anyone in Ontario who does, is very much embellishing). Our bear are though, some of the most notoriously intelligent and skeptical of any man-made conditions, out there.
