Mule deer are one of the most sought after species in all of Alberta and for good reason, the sheer size and unmistakable characteristics make these bucks the ones every hunter dreams about.

Limited hunting pressure, a good food source, plenty of cover, great genetics and exclusive access are all keys to a quality deer hunt. Our mule deer hunting area is in the parkland of Alberta on private land owned by local farmers, with terrain varying from patches of thick timber, open fields and steep river bottoms. Private access allows us to scout all year for mule deer and gives us the best opportunity at a trophy mule buck.  Our mule deer hunting takes place in November during the rut when the mature bucks are actively searching for does and deer movement is at its peak. Mule deer hunting at this time ensures the best opportunity for success. The antler size of bucks we harvest is 170"-200"+ B&C. Spot & stalk is the most effective method we use for our mule deer hunts allowing us to cover a lot of ground throughout the day. Occasionally, pop-up blinds may be used, however we can tailor our hunts to suit anyone's physical ability. Hunters should be prepared to do some hiking to have the best chance at harvesting a trophy mule deer. Expect to be shooting from 250 to 400 yards. A day of mule deer hunting with us will take glassing from hill tops as well as driving the roads when the deer come out to feed. 
 

During your mule deer hunt you will be hunting 1 on 1 alongside guides that live and have grown up in the area. All of our hunts are almost exclusively guided by Mike or Scott, if you are coming as group larger than 2 hunters we have a few select guides who are great friends, and dedicated hunters themselves, they will be sure to take care of you during your stay with us!  All hunt durations are 6 days unless otherwise requested. Although muleys are our specialty we recommend a combination hunt which includes adding a whitetail tag to avoid missing an opportunity on one of those monsters, while we are hunting for mule deers. We are able to hunt both mule and whitetail deer in the same zone, our combination hunts allow you to hunt 2 species of majestic bucks in one trip!
