Your host, Carlos Gonzalez Hermosillo was born in Mexico City in 1947, is an avid hunter since the age of 8, has hunted the 5 continents collecting over 250 different big game species, most of them qualify for the record book ( 38 in the top 10 S.C.I. Record Book).
He is a firm believer in wildlife conservation, owner and C.E.O. of Centro Cinegético Integrado S.C., a company based in México City since 1988, fully dedicated to the managing and conservation of our natural resources.
He also owns Big Game Outfitters México ( founded in 1980 ), a hunting organization in the mexican states of Sonora, Baja California Sur and Campeche with over 1,000,000 acres of hunting land. His San Francisco ranch was developed for Desert BigHorn Sheep, Pronghorn and Mule Deer, and is the site of Mexico´s first wildlife station and home of the last herd of Sonorensis Pronghorn in Sonora with aproximately 184 of them.
Carlos built our second and third wildlife stations in his daughters ranches El Chocloduro and El Aguila, with the purpose of protecting and conserving The Desert Bighorn Sheep that inhavits this mountains.

He is also President of the Mexican Federation of wildlife breeders S.C., and president of Humedales de México A.C., this last one dedicated to the waterfowl and his resources in Chihuahua, México. He has served 7 times as S.C.I. International Director. Between 1997-2005 his company has donated 140 different hunting trips to S.C.I., Sables, Save Hunting, and multiple S.C.I. Chapters.
He has a degree in Civil Engineering having studied at the University of Rice at Houston and Nacional Autónoma de México; He is an active member of several wildlife and hunting organizations worldwide as S.C.I., F.N.A.W.S., Houston Safari Club, R.M.E.F. and a life member of I.P.H.A. ( International Professional Hunters Association ).
In 1996 he was the recipient of the H.S.C. the Outstanding Hunter Achievement Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Houston Safari Club.
