Ongariwanda adopted its name from the Ongariwanda Rock. A very big granite rock which welcome you on your arrival in the savannah bushfeld. In Herero (one of the Namibian ethnic groups) the name ONGARIWANDA means “the unique granite rock which provides numerous watercourses during the raining season.

The farm GROOT ONGARIWANDA is owned by the Van Rensburg family since 1928 and became active in hunting activities since 1975. Hunting with us is a journey into part of Namibia’s best kept secret, a journey filled with unforgettable experiences, new adventures and new friendships.
