This hidden treasure is situated only 60 km from East London on the N2 traveling towards Durban.

Mpotshane Game Reserve is situated 3kms along a well maintained gravel road from the Kei Cuttings off the N2 which makes access a pleasure.

Mpotshane Private Game Reserve is situated in the malaria free Eastern Cape of Southern Africa. The Reserve is privately owned and was established about ten years ago and invites you to share this unexplored paradise with us.

Mpotshane Safaris has a great passion for hunting, which can clearly be seen through the attitude of our Professional Staff. We will go to the extreme to ensure you the trophy that you are requiring. The Professional Hunters that will be guiding you on the hunt have a vast experience and knowledge when it comes to hunting in the Eastern Cape.

We make use of adjacent properties which together consists of approximately 30 000 acres and holds more than 30 different game species will definitely add to your expected success on the hunt.

The hunting terrain will differ depending on the specie that is sought by you; you might be looking for a Blue Duiker which inhabit thick forest-like terrain or a Kudu Bull which prefers the higher mountainous areas. The areas to be hunted will be discussed in full detail with you prior to your Safari.

We believe the key to success is to be in the bush as early as possible, this is when most of the game species are on the move and your chances become so much better.

We also make use of full time trackers which are based in the Game Reserve; they are all very enthusiastic with a great passion for what they do. The tracker also plays a major role alongside the Professional Hunter to ensure success on the hunt.

We practice ethical hunting at all times and no animals will be hunted from the back of a vehicle unless we feel that there are no alternatives due to a disability that you might have.

We also feel very strongly about the fair chase of a wild animal, no artificial light will ever be used on our Safaris, we are totally opposed to that.
