Burntwood Lake Lodge

Nestled in the Precambrian Shield, Burntwood Lake Lodge is Located 500 miles north of the Canadian Border. We are exclusively a fly-in only resort, accessed only by air with fly-in outposts, our lodge is truly a world class facility. Burntwood Lake boasts over 1000 miles of rocky shoreline; weed beds, hidden reefs, and is a superb lake for Northern Pike and unlimited Walleye. Family owned and operated; along with our great staff, we will make your stay with us an enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable experience.

Main Lodge

The main lodge was completed in the fall of ’95. It has 5 guest rooms for groups of 1 and 2 people, as well as a kitchen, dining room, tackle & souvenir store, lounge and bar and staff quarters.

Fishing

Walleye fishing on Burntwood Lake is absolutely fantastic! Nestled in the heart of excellent Walleye territory, Burntwood Lake is second to none. Catching shore lunch has never been easier. Filled with hidden reefs and rocky shorelines, Burntwood offers great Walleye fishing. Almost any type of lure works, most popular being the 3/8 oz or 1/2 oz jig heads along with a rubber tail, rappalas, and spinners. A light or ultra light rod are recommended for Walleye.

Hunting

Over the years, the Burntwood Lake Area has proven to have one of the highest concentrations of Black Bear and Bull Moose in Manitoba. We have over 1000 miles of untouched wilderness shoreline, this is a fly-in only area with no other camps on lake. We have been averaging over the past 25 years an outstanding 85 % success on our Trophy Black Bear Hunt and hard to beat 75 % on our Trophy Bull Moose Hunts.

Each Hunter for Bear or Moose is issued a tag (Bulls only for Moose), a guide for the entire week who will guide you hunting and fishing both, all meat is flown back to Snow Lake. All hunting is done out of our main lodge on Burntwood Lake. We Hunt hard so be rested when you arrive !
