FALL GOATS

After flying into a remote mountain lake there is nothing quite like putting on a pack and venturing into a goat’s summer and fall range. Our early fall hunts take place from Aug. 10th to Oct. 31st in the high alpine basins and peaks of the Coast Mountains.

LATE SEASON GOAT HUNTS

By late October the first snows start pushing the goats from the high country to lower bluffs. Nannies and billies start moving closer together. Some monster billies otherwise found in inaccessible country move to lower elevations to herd up nannies. The action can be fast and furious when the billies start fighting for breeding rights.

LODGE BLACK BEAR

As the snow receeds up the mountains in the spring, black bears hungrily emerge from hibernation. The first areas to see green grasses are sun-exposed slide shoots, cut blocks, and logging roads. With a beautiful lodge and hundreds of miles of access to the mountains, our lodge hunt is the perfect recipie for spot and stalk hunting huge coastal black bears.

OCEAN BLACK BEAR HUNTS

In the early spring big, mature boars dominate the prime feeding spots along the coastal estuaries. This offers the serious trophy hunter a small window of opportunity to stalk these huge bruins when they’re occupied by replenishing calories after emerging from hibernation.

COASTAL GRIZZLY HUNTS
