Hunt in Solitude
Our guide exclusive concession is located on the Alaskan Peninsula, 225 miles southwest of Anchorage. Holding the sole guide use permit with the National Park Service, in the Sugarloaf area of the Katmai Preserve, makes Alaska Wild Wind Adventures the only outfitter allowed to conduct guided hunts in this area. Encompassing close to 220 square miles of the richest salmon spawning areas in the state, our area holds one of the world’s largest population of brown bears. With a limited amount of tags and a long term permit with the National Park Service, we have an invested interest in preserving this area to harbor the best hunting Alaska can offer. These limited tags and exclusive guiding rights allows us to manage our area to the highest degree and increases the opportunity of potentially harvesting a record book brown bear and Alaskan-Yukon moose.
