Snowshoe Camp Resort is a 4-season housekeeping style resort located on the scenic Wakomata Lake.  This lake is deep, clean and home to Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass, Pike, Whitefish, Burbot (Ling) and Perch.  The lake is surrounded by a Provincial Park and Crown Land with sand beaches and rocky shorelines to explore as well as trails to inland lakes.

Our quiet resort is located 3 miles from the highway, where you will be accommodated in a private, clean, well equipped cabin.  There is a sand beach, sheltered boat docks, fish cleaning hut, boat and motor rentals, canoes, a paddleboat and barbeques. We have electricity but do not provide radios or televisions.  Cabins have water year-round, indoor bathrooms, and wi-fi. If nature does not provide all of the entertainment to fulfill your needs, our recreation hall has Satellite TV, books for all ages, a pool table and ping pong table.  Outdoors, we have swings, tetherball and a horseshoe pit.

Fishing: Ice Fishing, Spring Fishing, Summer and Fall Fishing. Any time of year is Fishing time at Snowshoe Camp Resort! Wakomata Lake is home to Lake Trout, Whitefish, Burbot (Ling), Smallmouth Bass, Pike and Perch and has often provided quite the catch for some very happy campers!

The nearby Mississagi River offers additional challenges for the bait cast or fly fisherman.  Walleye, Brook, Trout, Rainbow trout and Muskie can be caught from shore or canoe.  See our Links page for direction to information on what's in season and online fishing regulations (We are part of Zone 10).
