Hi and welcome! Our comfortable, self-catering cottage is situated on beautiful farmland in the heart of Natal's Midlands Meander, 19km from the village of Nottingham Road.

The cottage can sleep up to eight people, is fully equipped and, best of all for those needing a relaxing break, is serviced daily.

If you're wanting to do more than mellow in the serene rural setting, activities include still-water trout fishing, walking, and birding. See Activities for more on this.

The cottage has a main bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with two single beds and a third bedroom, ideal for kids, with four bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower, hand-basin and toilet.

The spacious lounge and dining area features an open fire-place - essential to make those chilly winter evenings warm and cosy. Wood is provided, as is a daily litre of fresh milk from the farm dairy.

You'll find linen and towels included, as are soap and toilet paper. In fact, all you need bring is your own food and drink as the kitchen is equipped with crockery and cutlery plus electric stove, fridge and microwave. If you prefer to braai, there's a Weber on the stoep.

For those important sports events (or for soapie addicts), there's a flat-screen TV with DSTV in the lounge. Access to DSTV is R20 a day.

The cottage is entirely separate from the main house and overlooks rolling farmland, ensuring guests' privacy.
