For a little bit of heaven, on the outskirts of the Drakensberg mountains near Vrede in the beautiful North Eastern Free State, only 2 – 2 1/2 hours drive from Johannesburg, come to Little Long Creek. It consists of 4 km of stream that runs into the perennial Kommandospruit. Abundant Yellow Fish and Trout are available in three weirs and Yellow Fish in the Kommandospruit. The area is also well known for its large variety of birdlife and beautiful scenery. A Six-bed chalet and rondavel sleeping two form the complex. The De Villiers’ have approximately 600 stud cows and are, apart from using their best bulls for natural mating, also doing AI and Embryo Collection.
