Fishing
Trout, dollies, sockeye, silvers and kings all require certain techniques and different presentations. With approximately 400 registered fishing guides on the Kenai, and seasons and run-times varying each year, the task of finding the right guided trip for you can be daunting. Alaska Heavenly Lodge's staff has experience guiding and fishing Alaska's premium waters for over a decade and call many of the Kenai's top guides close friends. Allow us to customize an Alaskan Fishing Adventure you will not forget!
The world famous Kenai River begins at Kenai Lake and runs 80 miles to Cook Inlet. The river is divided into three sections: the Upper, the Middle, and the Lower River. Each section is unique in its scenery and can offer fishermen and women different species of fish, fishing techniques, and overall experience on the water.
The backcountry of Alaska awaits those few anglers who are willing to get off the road-system. A mere 30 to 40 minute flight can get you and your companions to some amazing streams teeming with Alaskan trophies. There is no better way to see the last frontier than from the seat of a floatplane!
