The Georgia Mountain Angler
North Georgia and Western North Carolina premier trout fly fishing guide service. Offering guided trout fishing trips on the best streams and rivers in North Georgia and Western North Carolina for rainbow, brook and brown trout. You are invited to come fishing with us as we pursue trout on the most beautiful and wild rivers and streams of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. We can put you on trout in some of the most legendary water in the eastern U.S. From beautiful high mountain streams stalking native wild Brook Trout to trophy water in pursuit of monster Rainbows and Browns.
One of our specialties is wild, native brook trout in the headwaters of streams in Georgia and North Carolina. Brook trout are the only species native to the southern Appalachians. Catching them requires going very high in the mountains (3000 Ft. or higher) and fishing small water drop pools for these beautiful and wild fish. The scenery is spectacular and it is an experience you will never forget.
