From those just learning to fish to advanced anglers, there is no place more enjoyable and productive to fish than a boat ride through hundreds of miles of fishable water outside our lodge, or a flyout to tributaries which feed the Alagnak. Our guests can fish from the boat and gravel bars, or wade- whichever choice the conditions call for. All five species of Pacific Salmon run in the Alagnak. More information about fishing.
The Alagnak is a spey fisherman’s paradise. Wide areas for wading and casting make it the perfect river for landing those salmon on the fly with your double hander! Many of our guides are proficient at spey casting and enjoy helping teach the technique.
