The School House Inn is located on the banks of the renowned Salmon River in Upstate, NY. We provide lodging and guided fishing trips. The lodge is situated in beautiful downtown Altmar, NY.
We are conveniently located six miles from RT 81 in Pulaski NY. We are directly across the street from the School House Pool, the Upper and Lower Wire Holes and just down stream from the Lower Fly Fishing Area.
The lodge has ample parking and easy access to the Salmon River. We offer guided services with license NY state guides in both drift boat and bank guiding. Your guide will help you with various fishing techniques through all the fishing seasons.
The lodge is also convenient for snowmobiling and ATV riding. We are very close to the snowmobiling and ATV trails. We have plenty of parking for your snowmobiling and ATV needs. We offer both guided drift boat and wading trips.
We can offer these trips by themselves or as a discounted package with lodging!!! We offer lodging that can accommodate 1-8 guests. The rooms are private therefore booked only for you and your guests. Each room has it's own private entrance and private bath.
All of the rooms have color cable TV, a coffee maker, a microwave and a refrigerator for your convenience!!! We also have recently added an efficiency apartment to accommodate our guests who prefer full facilities. The apartment has a living room, full kitchen and bath and the out side deck with a gas grill.
