1st Class Trout and Salmon Fishing on Lake Ontario with Rodmaster Sportfishing Charters!
Lake Ontario offers some of the finest freshwater fishing in the world! Our charter fishing season begins annually on April 1st and runs until October 31st. That means there's plenty of time for you to experience the excitement of hooking into one of our Lake Ontario Trout or Salmon!
If you're not familiar with our fishery, there are multiple species available to us, and we often catch a nice mixed bag daily. The Trout species in Lake Ontario are Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout and Steelhead (a strain of Rainbow Trout). The Salmon in Lake Ontario are Coho Salmon, an occasional Atlantic Salmon and the Chinook Salmon. The Chinook is also called a King Salmon, which, if you hook into one you will understand why they've earned the name - they put up an incredibly powerful fight!
