The Lodge at Little Duck is located in the heart of Manitoba’s Sub Arctic Wilderness, a fascinating land that has changed little over time. Enjoy the quality and comforts of our 5 star lodge and all we offer. Over a hundred miles separates us from the closest road or intrusion making the wilderness experience at The Lodge at Little Duck even more adventurous.
Battle the ferocious Northern Pike (up to 50” and beyond) in the crystal clear shallows on either lure or fly, test your strength and endurance while fighting the powerful Lake Trout (up to 45 lb) or cast into the moving water of our many rivers and streams for
Arctic Grayling (up to 22”) with its defiant attitude and magnificent colors. Again your choice, lure or fly. We honestly believe there are many more fish that have never seen a lure or fly than those fish that have. Those are great odds!!!
This land is also home to the Qamanirjuaq Caribou Herd that is conservatively estimated at over 400,000 animals. Each fall, these magnificent caribou start their annual migration from their northern calving grounds, and in the process, use both our “front and backyard” during their travel’s south. We have the ability to utilize hundreds of miles of shoreline by boat in search of your trophy bull.
