The Vessel
Capt Kyle's boat is a 22 foot Blazer Bay, powered by a 250 hpdi Yamaha. It is equipped with a jack plate for shallow water access and trim tabs for a smooth ride on the roughest days. It also includes 10 foot rod-lockers and dual live wells, one 30 gallon front aerated livewell and one 35 gallon rear aerated livewell. The captain's boat has a 60 gallon fuel tank to accommodate a full day of fishing and fun.
With such a versatile boat, Capt Kyle can target many species in multiple locations. Whether sight fishing for cobia and tarpon from the tower, or stalking trout and redfish in less than a foot of water, this boat allows him to do it all.
Captain Kyle spends countless hours on his own cruising up and down the beach in search of tarpon and cobia. This helps him know where the fish are on any givin day. With the height of the tower, he is able to spot the target species with ease, giving clients as many opportunities as possible to catch the big one.
The height advantage also helps Captain Kyle spot schools of redfish when fishing the flats.
