I bet you are wondering what The Chum Line is. The Chum Line is part and parcel of Maine Rivers & Sea Charters, my charter boat business. The Chum Line is an internet based vehicle for communicating current fishing reports for the New England coast with a strong emphasis from midcoast to the southern coast of Maine. The Chum Line is also a way for commercial and recreational fisherman to share with others their own fishing reports, stories, pictures, messages, hints, recipes, techniques, and concerns about the industry and sport.
I would like to set a few ground rules: There will be no crude language or pictures allowed to be posted. We don’t want any knocking of other boats or fisherman, as we are after all just human, and we all have bad days, equipment trouble and rotten luck. God knows I have had my share of these at one time or another. Sometimes all at the same time! Besides we are all in this together...
Since this is a work in progress, I hope you will contribute to the Chum Line and visit it often.
