Two-Sheds Fishing Guide Service is an outdoor adventure trips company that helps beginner and expert fishermen alike experience amazing fishing on Maine’s outstanding waters. Unlike other any other Maine guide company, we use vintage (1940s-60s) wooden boats and motors, and a long forgotten attitude of contemplative, unrushed and peaceful, rather than fast-paced or competitive fishing experience.
Richard deCosta is a Registered Maine Guide who has been fishing all over Maine since early childhood. His favorite activities are trolling for landlocked salmon, fly fishing for trout in rivers and brooks, and hiking through the Maine woods to remote, virtually untouched ponds to fish for wild native brook trout.
Richard has a passion for vintage fly fishing gear, art and stories. He writes fishing articles for The Maine Sportsman Magazine and others.
Christine deCosta is the glue that holds Two-Sheds together; keeping the books, making sure Richard doesn’t leave the house without a compass and a can of spam, and basically providing the most amazing source of inspiration.
