Welcome to southern Vermont's guided fly fisihing tours in the Manchester, Dorset, Bennington, Arlington, Stratton, Wardsboro, Sunderland, Wilmington, Dover, Peru in Vermont state as well as eastern New York guided fly fishing tours in Albany, Saratoga Springs and Lake George regions and Williamstown and Berkshire County in Massachusetts.

We offer wading fly fishing tours or fly fishing tours from the drift boat from beginners to well seasoned anglers.

For more than 35 years Bob, a native Vermonter, has fished the famed Battenkill River, as far back as the “red mailbox era.”  He then took up fly tying in his teens and later on was an instructor for more than ten years in the Orvis fly fishing and shooting schools in Manchester Vermont.  Bob began guiding in the early 1980’s and became an Orvis endorsed guide.  He then went on to design and implement a program of guided fly fishing, fly fishing tours and mini fly fishing schools at the Equinox Resort in Manchester, Vermont for individuals and corporate giants during their retreats. He is also one of the first fly fishing guides to use a drift boat in the area.

When it comes to a Vermont fly fishing tour there is one person that will determine if your tour is successful or not, your fly fishing guide. Being surrounded by nature, relaxing and floating on Vermont or New York's waters is something that most folks would love to experience, but if you aren't catching fish then you aren't experiencing the day to the fullest.

This is where Bob, your Vermont fly fishing guide steps in. Bob will make sure you enjoy the sights, sounds, and beauty of Vermont's waters and his many years of regional Vermont fly fishing guide experience will make sure you catch fish, or at least give you the best odds possible to catch fish ensuring you're experiencing your tour to it's absolute fullest.
