All members must register upon arrival, before fishing. Members may choose to keep all fish caught at the current pound rate, sign up for the daily catch and release program at $15.00 per day or sign up for the annual catch and release program at $200.00 for the year.
Large fishing groups must be arranged in advance (10 or more people).
No live bait allowed, except in the upper lake. Streams are reserved for fly fishing only. No fishing off Lodge porch.
We stock several times throughout the year.
Lessons are available during normal business hours upon request, however, reservations are suggested. To make a reservation call our direct line at 440-543-1331.
Basic Fly Casting: Beginners are shown the parts and mechanics of the equipment. They are shown two basic casts and when to apply them appropriately. Essential knots are covered with any remaining time. We supply all the gear needed or bring your own.
Intermediate Fly Casting: For those looking to improve their basic skill set and learn new techniques. Line control and mending are covered as well as casting with weight. Knots are reviewed and augmented. These are tailored somewhat to the kind of fishing anticipated by the participant.
