You've come to the right place.

Capt. Dick Redsicker of Upstate Outfitters in NY has won prizes in over 45 major Trout and Salmon Derbies and held the New York State Rainbow Trout record of 21 pounds, 14 ounces in 1984. Dick has over 40 years experience and knowledge in locating and successfully catching the huge King Chinook and Coho Salmon that our area is famous for.

Dick Redsicker has been a licensed River Guide # 229 for over 40 years and has also been a Coast Guard Captain for over 13 years.

Depending on the season, Dick and his clients typically haul in their limits of monster Salmon, giant Lake Trout, trophy sized Walleye, Steelhead, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and tackle breaking Black Bass - the kind you only see in magazines.

When you book a Salmon River or Lake Ontario Fishing Charter with us, we take care of everything. We will provide all of the rods and tackle, make arrangements for your lodging (when applicable) and connect you with our taxidermist, if desired. You'll enjoy fishing for some of the finest fish in the World including Steelhead, Browns, Walleyes, Bass, Coho and King Salmon. Our Steelhead and Browns average 8 - 10 lbs, with trophies weighing up to 18 lbs taken regularly. Walleyes average 7 - 13 lbs. Salmon are the heavyweights and average 25 lbs. with 30 - 40 lb. wall hangers often taken.

For your best bet on catching these fish, we fish several rivers and streams depending on the water and fishing conditions. Our years of river experience will get you well on your way to some of the trophies you have always dreamed of.
