The day we moved to Okimot Lodge in spring 2001 a neighbor came over to introduce himself. He greeted us with the words “welcome to paradise!”
If you are looking for a great place where you can combine fishing, hunting and family vacation you will find it at Okimot Lodge. Its history goes way back to 1945 when the Anderson family established the lodge and started catering to fishermen and hunters as well as loggers who worked in the area at the time. Over the years it became not only known for its great fishing and hunting but also very popular with families during the summer months with the natural sandy beach and evening camp fires being the favorite attractions.
We are located 60 km (37 miles) northwest of North Bay or 110 km (68 miles) northeast of Sudbury surrounded by the beauty of Northeastern Ontario
