SARAH ENSOR

Sarah loves fishing and especially pulling up the big ones. She knows a lot about all aspects of fishing and is ready and willing to help you plan a trip to remember.

HUGH ENSOR

Skipper Hugh Ensor grew up with an intense love of the sea, spending his boyhood years on the East Coast near Gisborne learning a love of fishing and hunting and the “Great Outdoors”. After finishing school he did an apprenticeship as an Engineer which has stood him in good stead when it comes to maintaining the three vessels.

After that some years were spent hunting deer and goats for the Government in various locations around New Zealand. These skills have now been honed and are put into practice on the sea hunting fish. Hugh’s childhood love of the sea led to him following a career as a commercial diver, at which he proved to be very adept. He spent six years working in various countries in the offshore oilfield industry. Hugh holds a NZ Commercial Launch Masters ticket. Second to none, he has an awesome reputation for putting fish on the boat, specializing in reef and hapuka fishing anywhere in the Bay of Plenty.
