Fishing!  And Family Vacation

65 miles west of Thunder Bay on Highway No. 11
(Open May 1st to October 1st)

You can enjoy the peace and tranquility as well as a taste of country living while vacationing at BirchPoint Resort. We are located less than 100 km. west of Thunder Bay, Ontario on Highway 11. We are situated on Kashabowie Lake. Kashabowie Lake is approximately 17 miles long. You can fish for walleye, small mouth bass, northern pike and lake trout.

We have 8 cabin accommodations along with seasonal camping. Our cabins are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with hot/cold running water, 3 piece bath, fridge, stove, pots & pans, cutlery, dishes, toasters and coffee makers. All linens, except for personal bath towels.

A convenience store is there to supply you with souvenirs. Bait, fishing tackle, licenses and boat/motor rentals are also available.

Our fish house with individual cleaning stations and freezer service provided for your needs.

Enjoy swimming or bathing on a white sand beach area.

Our WMU is 12B and close proximity of 11B. Our cabins make great accommodations for hunters with tags for these wildlife management units.

We are members of Noto and Ontario Sunset Country.

Make your reservation early to reserve a cabin of your choice and include a $150.00 deposit within 30 days. Personal cheques accepted on cabin deposits only. Any payments other than deposits require cash, travelers' cheques or visa. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another date within the season.
