Welcome to Halfway Haven!

Halfway Haven Lodge was built in the middle of nowhere and opened its doors in December 1998.  The Lodge, accommodating 38 people, is nestled on peaceful Jeep Lake surrounded by woods perfect for hiking, biking, bear hunting, fishing, ATV, and snowmobiling. All stays include an exceptional breakfast and dinner for all guests. 
 

For winter 2015-2016, yes the rumours you have been hearing are true! HALFWAY HAVEN IS OPEN THIS WINTER!  So you can once again enjoy the solitude of this epic stop along the Algoma trail system.  We are ecstatic to report that all of the volunteers have been working hard re-opening the trail from Searchmont to Halfway and from Halfway to Wawa!  So pristine trails will be waiting for you, once again along this great trail link.  You might want to check out the new playground in Wawa and ride the powder!  Visit www.topsecretboondocking.com
 

Brand new this year, the volunteers have groomed a trail from Halfway to Chapleau, Ontario.  This allows riders to travel to the Northeast to Foleyet and Timmins!  So not only are we open we are an even bigger link to more communities!

We are located 60 miles west of Chapleau, 70 miles east of Wawa and 90 miles north east of Searchmont.  We are the only place on this stretch of trail and we are pleased to offer gasoline, delicious food and lodging.  We  are located on the main D trail.  This is a perfect getaway location for those in Ontario, Michigan and beyond!
