WATER TEMPERATURE AND CLARITY:
With the Saturday rain in the lower river and rains in the mountains the river clouded up again and the clarity was only a couple of feet most of the week. The water temp this week was from 54 to 56 degrees.
WEATHER CONDITIONS:
For the most part we had a great week of weather with some rainy days.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK:
The 911 channel is stuffed with beautiful spawning colored Dollies!
WILDLIFE SPOTTED:
As always we are seeing lots of birds: Mallards, Teal, Pintails, Widgeon, Harlequins and Geese. We are also seeing all the shore birds along with lots of Eagles, Goshawks, Falcons, Ospreys and Tundra Swans.
COMMENTS FOR THE WEEK:
With the rain we had on Saturday the river came up and got a little colored for a day. But it brought in a bunch of chrome bright mean Silvers. We also had great fishing for Dollies this week and they are in their spawning colors. Great week of fishing to end our season on the Kanektok!! Hard to
