Crooked Tree Lodge is owned and operated by Maine Master Guide, Denny Davis along side Guide Jaimie Crowley and camp staff and cooks Stephanie Davis and Diane Chouinard. At Crooked Tree Lodge, our hunts are fully inclusive with Lodging, Meals and transportation to and from your hunting area.

The food and meals are of the highest quality. Not only is there quality, there is quantity. If you leave the table hungy, it is your fault! Our ladies also specialize in desserts. If you are not careful, you will have to let your belt out before going home. There are snacks available in the dining room at any time.

Hunting

I have been outfitting, guiding and hunting black bear across North America since 1974. Hunting in Maine, Wisconsin, British Columbia, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and of all of these places, the area where we outfit now is the best I have found. With everything taken into consideration; bear numbers, bear sizes and accessibility, this is the BEST ANYWHERE.

We hunt black bears with hounds and we hunt them with bait. New for 2015, we will be offering trapping black bears, as well as combo hound / trapping hunts where you can take two bears in the great state of Maine!
