Deer Haven Acres is a deer hunting, turkey hunting preserve located near Adams, Wisconsin. The hunting preserve itself is 238 acres and contains fields, hardwood groves, rolling hills and rock bluffs. It’s inhabited by a carefully managed whitetail deer population as well as a turkey population and wildlife native to Central Wisconsin.
Our whitetail deer hunting heard at Deer Haven Acres possess very good genetics. That along with a year-round diet of nutrient-rich food produces whitetail deer bucks well above average. The average whitetail deer buck harvested at the preserve scores around 150 or larger according to the Boone and Crockett scoring system. However a number of bucks that score 200 and above (well into the record book for whitetail) can be found on the preserve at any given time.
Deer Haven Acres was founded in the year of 2000 by the Marx Family. It’s still owned today by the Marx Family.
Because the hunting grounds at Deer Haven Acres are privately owned and managed, Deer Haven hunters are exempt from normal state and federal game laws. This means that you don’t need to have a license. You can can hunt our trophy whitetail bucks any time after September until the bucks drop their antlers in the spring of the year. Visit our Deer Hunting page for more information or our lodging page where you will be staying.
