Big Nine Outfitters has won the Northern BC Guides sheep competition for Biggest Ram of the Year 11 times in the past 15 years.
Most of our rams are harvested at elevations below 6000’. Timberline is approximately 5000’. On rare occasions we will hunt stone sheep at elevations of up to 8000’.
The Fish and Wildlife Branch have created a quota system on all Stone Sheep. Because of this our sheep hunts are booked on a first come, first serve basis. Hunters who are too late may have their advance payment returned or held over for the next season.
Hunter success rate over the past 10 years have been well over 90%
