Lions Back Outfitters located in Springville, Utah. We are specialists in conducting Mountain Lion  hunts, Black Bear hunts, Elk, Mule Deer and other predator hunts. We have access to thousands of acres of prime hunting grounds throughout the state of Utah and New Mexico. The possession of special use Forest Service permits along with BLM allows us to hunt in public lands across the state.

Our guests are treated to the best of facilities, provided with experienced personal guides and are aided in the hunt by packs of specially trained hounds which make for an unforgettable hunting expedition. Among other packages, we offer five-day Cougar or Bear hunts with accommodation for all five nights in hotels close to where the hunts are conducted. Lodging for all of the days are included in the package as well as free pick-ups and drop-offs for guests to the Salt Lake City Airport.

Being in the business since 2004, we strive to make our guests outing as exciting and memorable as possible. Our guides are full-time and we do not sub-contract the services. Each hunter is accompanied by a guide who is thoroughly familiar with the terrain and the hunting grounds. The hounds are specially trained for the hunts. 

Depending on the weather and the terrain hunting is done using SUVs, ATVs, snow mobiles or on horseback. Once the track of the hunted animal is spotted hunters have to keep up with the hounds and the guide. Hunters can be accompanied by non-hunters to share the excitement if they so choose.

We pride ourselves on the high success rates in the hunts we conduct. Towards achieving that and making sure that our guests get the best of services we limit the number of our hunts to keep the quality high.
