Our mountain lion hunts are conducted in Northeast Wyoming. With the abundant numbers of deer, elk, and turkey in the area, this part of Wyoming is a perfect habitat for mountain lions.
These five-day hunts are the classic lion hunt. They begin with locating fresh tracks or fresh kill, then bringing in and turning out the well-trained hounds to tree the lion. We use pickups and side-by-side ATVs to access the area. However, when in the pursuit of the lion, a lot of hiking and foot work is required.
Hunts are conducted in the fall either by reserving five days, well in advance, or preferably on a fresh snow, call basis. We have had an extremely high success rate with this very exciting hunt.
License may be purchased over the counter for $360.00 for a non-resident.
