We are experiencing a crazy winter here in the North Woods. With little snow, minimal ice and crazy  temperatures we have weathered 30 below to 43 above in the same 24 hour period. We have made the best of our time, catching up on correspondence, friends and family. We are anxiously looking forward to the change of season and all of its splendor. Spring fishing for Native Brook Trout, smelt runs, fiddleheads and shore lunches on the Allagash and its surrounding area.

There’s a lot going on as we prepare for our 2016 season. We have expanded our fleet of watercraft of both 20 ft. canoes and 21′ Scott boats to better accommodate our guests and open more opportunities for remote waters. Our search never ends for new waters in the vast North Woods.

We are expanding our trips on the Allagash to showcase its 50Th. anniversary this year. We will be offering out of the 4Th. Musquacook location, one, two, and three night trips to the river with the option to return to the lodge for the best of accommodations the North Woods has to offer. Private rooms and baths as we can only offer, within 15 miles of the Allagash. Fully guided and outfitted as needed, trips to the Ghost trains of Eagle lake, Umsaskis and Long lake dam, down to the outlet of Round pond.  20′ canoes or Scott boats make these trips safe and comfortable. We will make it a trip of a lifetime.

Bookings are already ahead of last year. We are more than 90% booked for October 2016.  2015 was our busiest year to date. Great guides are available if needed, so let us do the work. Please plan ahead and call soon to secure your choice dates for spring 2016.
