From its long ridge views to the streams that meander over two miles through woods and grasslands in rural southwest Wisconsin, this 700+ acre wild ranch offers everything. The diverse wildlife complement the facilities which include a beautiful log cabin lodge, a fishing pond, numerous natural springs, hardwood woodlands, vibrant wildflowers, and tranquil streams. With access to a state recreational trail and sitting in the middle of the “Cycle Southwest Wisconsin's bike loops, Tanglewood offers the perfect location for many recreational endeavors throughout the year.
Some of the wildlife that are frequently seen at the ranch include pheasant, whitetail deer, wild turkey, wild duck, geese, rabbit, raccoon, squirrel, otter, coyote, red fox, fish, blue heron, mink, muskrat, and turtle. Due to the plentiful food sources, the skies showcase multiple species of raptors including hawks and bald eagles.
