Our base of operations this year will be at the Foothills Motel & Campgroundin Dayton, Wyoming where your on-site hosts Dick & Dee Cattaneo will greet you and manage your hunt.  Location: 23 miles north west of Sheridan, Wyoming.  Take exit #9 from I-90 onto Highway 14 , go west 7 miles past (thru) Ranchester to Dayton.  As you enter the town of Dayton, the first place on the left is Foothills Motel & Campground. We scout out and lease the best ranch land in the area.  We manage the dog towns on this land to assure that the dog towns are not over used, this to be certain to have the best dog shooting possible. 

Hunts

Unless other arrangements are made with us, all prairie dog hunts are non-guided.  That is, we’ll take you to the ranch and point out the dog towns and we’ll be available to assist you “find the dogs” and set up the shooting benches, sand bags and shooting mats ( All included with your hunt. ).  We’ll also be around to check on you as may be needed, in case you need any other help.  But basically, you’ll be on the wide open prairie … just you and the dogs.  Your party will be the only hunters on the property at the time of your hunt.  Call (406) 366-3858 for more details or to schedule your hunt.

Guided Hunts

We offer a limited number of guided hunts.  Our guided hunts include the use of our custom shooting vehicle with a driver / spotter.  Lunch and drinks are provided and we stay with you throughout the day.  We do a limited number of guided hunts each year and the dates fill-up fast.  Please call for pricing and availability for our guided hunts at (406) 538-3911.
