In the heart of the fabled Limpopo Province, 2.5 hours north of the Johannesburg/Pretoria metropolis, lies one of South Africa’s natural pieces of terrestrial paradise. Located in an area called the Waterberg, so named for its bounteous supply of clean water gushing from fissures in the mountains during the wet season, lies a magical place, ringed by mighty sandstone buttresses, brooding mountain ranges and plunging riverine gorges.
