The TNT Lodge/Bed and Breakfast is located one mile outside of Platte SD, near the Missouri River. The bed and breakfast sleeps 15 people and includes two full bathrooms and full kitchen. Kick back and enjoy Satellite TV on our big screens. Our game room features a bar and pool table for your entertainment. Relax on our deck, grill out and sit around our fire pit. Spacious parking for cars, trucks, and boats. Guide Services are available for walleye fishing and pheasant hunting.
Platte boasts some of the finest hunting opportunities in the area for both small and large game. Well known as a “hot bed” for ring-necked pheasants, people travel long distances to Platte for quality hunting experiences.The many small lakes and sloughs surrounding the Platte area provide plentiful waterfowl and geese for hunting, including snow and blue geese. The ranch land attracts white-tail and mule deer and there are also several opportunities to bag Merriam turkeys.Hunting is a popular recreation in the Platte area and local chapters of Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited and East River Sportsmen’s Club help ensure the sport’s longevity through the development of wild game habitat improvement projects.Every November, The American Legion sponsors a Paralyzed Veterans’ Pheasant Hunt and Banquet, which attracts veterans from many surrounding states.
Platte is the prime location for the avid fisher. Located just 14 miles east of the Missouri River, there is no better place for walleye fishing. Lake Francis Case also provides some of the best fishing, not only in South Dakota, but in the Midwest Region.The large Missouri River reservoir area is home to enough sauger, small-mouth bass, white bass, crappie and channel catfish to keep you fishing for days.There are numerous boat ramp facilities and modern fish-cleaning stations to accommodate anglers. Several fishing tournaments, both public and private, are held every year to bring people out to enjoy the Platte area.
